How to Play Gameboy Games on a PSP

    • 1). Download the gpSP emulator for the PSP and right-click the "gpSP" folder after it has downloaded to your computer. Click "Copy."

    • 2). Connect your PSP to your computer with the USB cable. Select "USB Connection" from the PSP main menu and a window will appear on your computer screen. You will see the files on your PSP memory stick.

    • 3). Open the "PSP" folder and right-click the "GAME" folder. Click "Paste" and gpSP will be transferred to the PSP memory stick. Open the gpSP folder that you just transferred to the PSP memory stick. You will see a "Games" or "Roms" folder there. This is where your digital copy of the GameBoy games go.

    • 4). Download a GameBoy rom from one of the resource links and right-click the rom after it has downloaded to your computer. Go into the gpSP folder on the PSP memory stick and right-click the "Games" folder. Click "Paste" and your game will be transferred to the PSP memory stick. Press the "O" button on the PSP to disconnect it from the computer.

    • 5). Go into the game section of the PSP main menu and select the "gpSP" icon to start the emulator. Select the game that you just transferred to the PSP memory stick from the list that appears. Your game will start.
