When looking for long term care facility for a loved one in Missouri, there are a few questions you should ask yourself and a few things to be aware of: What type of facility do I need?: There are several types of facilities, be sure to select one that will meet the needs of your loved one.
Residential Care Facility I:Will provide shelter, board and supervision.
They may distribute medication and provide care during short term illness and recuperation.
Residential Care Facility II: Provides same care as a level I, plus provides dietary supervision and help with personal care.
Intermediate Care Facility: Provides personal care, board and basic health and nursing services under the direction of a licensed physician and nurses.

These services will be performed under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
