Although pothos, commonly known as devil's ivy, has undergone a botanical name change in recent years, it remains one of the most commonly seen interior plants. This houseplant is highly adaptable to indoor conditions. For growth, medium-to-bright diffused light and fertilization are needed. Maintenance of devil's ivy requires minimal care. - The spider plant bears tiny plantlets at the end of long stems.potted plant in peruvian garden image by Jennifer Stone from Fotolia.com
The spider plant, sometimes referred to an airplane plant, most often appears in hanging baskets for prominent display of its hanging offshoots, which may be separated from the parent plant for a supply of new plants. - Herbs may be grown as houseplants.A pot of basil image by Sophia Winters from Fotolia.com
