Charlotte Frazier-Doody Found Guilty in William Davis Case
In this case Charlotte Frazier-Doody was found as convict of this case. She also belongs to Hobley Street and has been sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court. The judge described the killing as extremely violent, fierce and horrific attack on a weak and helpless victim. The court has sent Frazier-Doody a 36 year old mother of three to jail where she will behind bars for at least 20 years. Frazier-Doody is also found to be addicted to heroin and crack cocaine.
Jurors heard that she used a very heavy weapon to kill Mr. Davis. Mr. Davis served in the Royal Navy throughout the World War II. Forensic evidence demonstrated that he had picked a bunch of hair from his killer when he tried to defend himself. Judge John Warner after approving sentence said that great grandfather had been beaten to death with cruelty in his home just after few days of his birthday. He added, "The motive of this attack from Frazier-Doody is still a mystery." The Senior Investigative officer Det Sgt Rob Bastin for West Midlands Police said," Frazier-Doody was addicted to class A drugs at the time of it, and was his neighbor. "She tried to say she visited him on the day of this type of case and offered him a dinner."
"As an alternative she betrayed Bill's faith and beat him to death while he was laying in his living room defenseless." Rob Bastin said, "It is very typical to understand her motive of attack and how sinful act she did without understanding the depth of it. By the way the motive doesn't seem much differ from her need of drugs as she would need to pay to fulfill her desire of addiction.
