How to Connect PC Speakers to Your Xbox
- 1). Connect the AV or component cable to the AV port on the Xbox.
- 2). Connect the white and red AV cables into the white and red plugs on the Y-adapter.
- 3). Connect the Y-adapter to the audio input port on your PC.
- 4). Connect your PC speakers to the PC's audio output port.
- 1). Open the "Control Panel" menu on your PC.
- 2). Click on the "Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices" category.
- 3). Click on "Sounds and Audio Devices."
- 4). Click on the "Volume" tab. In the "Device Volume" section of the window, click on the "Advanced" button.
- 5). Click the "Options" button in the upper-left of the window, and click "Properties."
- 6). Locate "Microphone" in the list provided, and check the box next to it. Click "OK."
- 7). Adjust the microphone volume and balance to your liking. Ensure that the box next to "Mute" is not checked; uncheck it if it is. You should now be able to hear your Xbox from your PC speakers.
- 8). Click the "Advanced" button under the microphone volume controls. Uncheck the "Mic Boost" option for better sound quality.
