Be serious and open minded

• 1). Head to sporting events. You may not be the biggest sports enthusiast, but Connecticut men love their sports. You will find an abundance of Connecticut men attending UConn basketball games, Hartford Wolf Pack hockey games, New Britain Rock Cats AA baseball games, and Red Sox or Yankees major league baseball games. Buy two tickets to any of the above---one for you and one for a girlfriend---and, if possible, brush up on recent statistics for the team you are going to see. Knowing who is batting over .300 or how many goals the most popular Wolf Pack player has scored is a plus with any worthwhile guy in attendance.
  
  
• 2). Take a golf lesson. Many men in Connecticut play golf. If you have not tried the sport and think it is worthwhile learning the game, contact a local country club or public golf club about lessons. While your initial intention may be to meet eligible bachelors, you may discover you enjoy the sport and take it more seriously. Consider furthering your formal education, or take a web design, information technology or bar-tending class.
