How to Copy CDs to an iPod Without a Computer
- 1). Look over the iLoad. The machine is a white box the size of a toaster. A slot for CDs is on the front. The top panel has a user interface and the back of the device contains a power cord, a cord to connect your iPod and a jack for headphones as well as connections to hook the device to your computer and other peripheral devices.
- 2). Examine the user interface at the top of the iLoad. The center of the user interface has a small rectangular screen. To the right of this screen are two buttons with arrows on them. The top button has an arrow that points up while the bottom button has an arrow that points down. There are three buttons beneath the screen. The button on each end has an arrow that points away from the center button. The center button is labeled 'go.' To the left of the screen is the button that turns the power on and off.
- 3). Turn the power on to the iLoad by pressing the power button to the left of the screen on the top of the machine. Connect your iPod or iTouch to the machine using the iPod cables.
- 4). Place a CD in the CD slot. The screen will display a message that instructs you to press the 'go' button. Click the button labeled 'go' in the center of the group of buttons below the screen.
- 5). Select an album when the screen prompts you to. Press the up or down buttons to the right of the screen until the name of the album that you want to copy displays. Touch the "go" button again. The display will ask you if you want to copy all tracks on the album to your iPod. Use the right and left buttons in the group of buttons below the screen to ensure that you select "Y" for yes. Touch the 'go' button again. The iLoad will copy the music tracks and update your iPod.
