• The first thing you should do when trying to treat your threadworm infestation is to make sure not to spread it around and become infested again or pass it to others. Resist scratching yourself, as you can get eggs beneath your fingernails and then spread them around. Wear gloves if you need to, and make sure to wash your hands thoroughly. Disinfect anything that anyone infected has come into contact with to be sure that no eggs have survived on the surface.   In treating threadworms, there are several options. You can choose to drink an herbal tea daily to curb the infection. This tea needs to have equal parts fennel seed, anilseed and peppermint. Drink a cup of this tea three times a day, once at each meal. You will need to drink this tea mixture for one week to get rid of your infestation. You may need to add honey to make the tea sweeter to drink. Another helpful item for consumption is carrots. Eat a few raw carrots per day in order to remove infestation. Onions and garlic can also help cure your threadworm infestation. They must be eaten raw in order to be effective. Raw coconut and apples also help fight a threadworm infestation.
  
  There are several other concoctions that can aid in removing threadworms from your system. For example, take a radish and juice it, then add a pinch of salt. If you drink this radish juice mixture for four days, your infestation should clear up. You may also mix together fresh buttermilk, roasted cumin seeds, black pepper and rock salt. Drink this mixture three to four times per day for one week to get rid of a threadworm infestation. This treatment is best for people who find themselves infested by threadworms and other intestinal worms frequently and repeatedly. If none of these home remedies work, however, it is best to consult a doctor for medication.
