Students like to have the teacher around to bail them out in case they get in over their head.
The problem is that you cannot become mature until you are on your own.
Your strength comes from within.
Information from external sources is needed to learn the facts and theory, but you have to personalize it, and make it your own.
There is no pat answer of how to handle everything in life.
You have to react according to the situation.
Certainly your morals should not be according to situation ethics, but solving problems must take them into account.
Every person may tackle the problem in a different way, because we have different strengths, weaknesses, and temperaments.
Besides your outward appearance, you are the parts hidden from the world.
They consist of your strengths, weaknesses, fears, desires, and other feelings on everything involved.
Maturing is the process of discovering whom you are and how you function.
You must discover areas where your fears will not sabotage positive plans.
You have to find what comes naturally and what does not.
You must learn to evaluate your feelings on every issue.
You have to determine whether your positive or negative thoughts, are the most realistic, so you know which to believe.
If your feelings are keeping you from going forward, you have to go against them.
You must decide between comfort and growing.
This determines how you cope with life.
You cannot grow if you remain in your comfort level.
You have to ease out of it long enough to learn and develop new things.
You will be comfortable with them when you are familiar with them.
You need a balance between comfort and learning.
You must decide how long to be in each.
You have to discover and develop your strengths.
Getting in touch with your inner parts permits you to know yourself.
You discover your likes, dislikes, desires and passions.
Your fears and negative thoughts will attempt to keep you from proceeding with your plans.
They are sometimes unrealistic and you may have to force yourself to think positively when it does not seem right.
You must find a way to make peace with your feelings so that you can operate comfortably and efficiently.
It can be difficult to get out of your comfort level, but it has to be done.
Your doubts and fears will make you feel like you are headed over a cliff.
You have to operate in the area of your strengths where you can scrounge enough positive feelings to proceed.
When you get to know your inner parts, and have developed your passion and purpose, you will begin to have success and feel good about yourself.
When you focus on one thing, you will become an expert.
You will have confidence, self worth, and be at peace with yourself.
You will have fewer doubts and a more optimistic outlook.
It is in all how you satisfy your fears with preparation and execute your positive plans.
