What Makes Bali So Special?
Bali, in case you're not up on your world geography, is an island in the largest island nation in the world--Indonesia.
Most of that country is Muslim--the largest Muslim country in the world, in fact.
However, Bali is an anomaly there, in that it is the only island in the country which is primarily Hindu.
It is also a sort of Hawaii-type destination for many Europeans, in that it's closer, and thus less expensive.
It has the beautiful scenery and the beaches that Hawaii has, and it is also tropical, but unlike Hawaii, which is about 10º north of the equator, and in the central Pacific Ocean, Bali is about 10º south of the equator, and in the western Pacific, north of the Australian state of Western Australia, where Perth is found.
In my research, I've found that there are many talented artists there of varying types, and when they were found, they seemed like something that is so different from the garden variety of photo albums found here in the USA that they would probably find a group of people around the country who would be ready, willing and able to buy them, as an alternative to the normal photo albums you can get anywhere.
It turns out that this assumption is correct.
There is a huge market for these beautifully-crafted organic photo albums.
Most people end up being repeat customers, and it will take a long time for them to buy all of the designs available, since one website I came across has an impressive selection of different designs to choose from, and they all come in various sizes.
