I don't know about you but there are many times when it's hard to see what's sapping your energy.
You see, energy isn't just about the physical.
If you are not challenged enough or you don't feel valued, then your mental and emotional energy is drained.
Modern life itself can be utterly draining too, so it is no wonder that we feel tired all the time.
With this in mind, I have listed some very common 'drainers'.
The first has to be stress and boredom.
You may wonder why you feel shattered when you sit at your desk all day.
As I have mentioned above, you really need a challenge to perk you up.
A good tip is to keep a diary to see when you feel most tired..
so you can figure out why.
Even ask a good, trusted friend..
'What do you see in my life that's wearing me out?'.
Next is lack of rest.
Most of us don't have enough downtime.
Work aside, there is so much opportunity and so much we could be doing 24/7.
Being over committed is one of the biggest energy vampires there is.
We all want an exciting and fulfilling life, however what use is that if we are just too darn tired to enjoy it? Toxic People..
These are friends, relations or colleagues who take..
but never give.
It can be really tiring being around people like that.
Know that it is OK to save some energy for yourself.

Stimulants.
Yes we all like our mug of sweet tea, slice of cake etc..
but, they purport to be pick-me-ups, but they are energy zappers alright! Sugar and refined carbs will cause a blood-sugar spike, followed by a rapid low that affects your energy levels, mood and performance.
Caffeine can make you jittery or cause withdrawal headaches.
Even a small amount of alcohol will disturb your sleep patterns and set you up for another tough day of fatigue fighting.
