I love "The Lord of the Rings" movies and have watched them several times.
They are entertaining and filled with lessons that I can relate to as a business owner when situations arise.
When the ring aka "the precious" was found and its story revealed; several lessons emerged from these great movies.
Here is a summary of those lessons: When a problem arises, #1 Identify the problem.
#2 Brainstorm on possible solutions.
#3 Create the team; you will always get better results with a team to support you.
#4 Determine the plan of action.
#5 Execute the plan.
#6 When Resistance and obstacles show up; work as a team and remember the "destination",keeping the main purpose in mind.
#7 When you feel like giving up remember the price you have paid thus far to motivate yourself and choose to move forward.
#8 Stay together and keep the team 's spirit strong.
Keep taking actions to move forward.
#9 Remember the purpose and destination, stay on track.
#10 Ask for help when you hit a road block.
#11 Have Courage and confidence in your mission.
#12 Nothing significant has ever been done by one person without the help and support of others.
Keep moving forward with the help of your team.
#13 It is not about you...
it is bigger than you and your ego.
#14 Stay true to yourself and your mission.
#15 Follow your heart.
#16 Get the job done even if you feel like you have nothing left to give.
#17 Keep up the faith.
#18 Surrender the outcome.
#19 Once the mission is accomplished, be sure to express gratitude.
#20 Cherish the relationships you have made along the way.
Those friendships will forever last if properly nurtured.
When a new situation arises, start over with number 1.
