How to Copy & Paste URLs Into MySpace to Get Song Files From a Website

40
    • 1). Visit a file hosting website, such as Uploadmusic.org, Supload.com, Mp3songurls.com and Fizzyshare.com.

    • 2). Click on the "Browse" button on the homepage to search for the music file on your computer. The name of this button may vary by website. For instance, it is called "Choose file" on Fizzyshare.com. Clicking the button will produce a dialog box you can use to locate the file. Click on the file and click the "Open" button in the dialog box. Click the "Upload" button on the website.

    • 3). Wait for the program to upload the file. At the end of the process, the program will create a page containing the music file. It will also give you a URL or a code you can use to link to the page. Some websites, such as Upload.org, will provide a code that will make the song begin playing automatically when a visitor arrives. Other websites, like Supload.com and Fizzyshare.com, provide a link to the page that you can embed on your MySpace page. Copy the code or the URL.

    • 4). Go to MySpace and log in to your account. Highlight "Profile" on the navigational bar and select "Edit Profile."

    • 5). Use the code. Click on one of the boxes; for instance, "Music." Right-click and select "Paste" to paste the code into the box. Click "Save Changes," then click "Profile" on the navigation bar to return to your profile page. The music should begin playing automatically.

    • 6). Use the link if the file loader website did not provide a code. Click on one of the boxes on the edit profile page and type:

      <a href = "http://www.yourlink.com">Listen to this!</a>

Note that http://www.yourlink.com is the URL for your music page that you copied from the file uploader website. "Listen to this!" will become a clickable link to the page. You can replace this phrase with any of your choice. Click the "Save Changes" button, then click "Profile" on the navigation bar to view your changes. Click "Listen to this!" to go to the page containing your music file. It should begin playing automatically.
