How to Look for a List of Low-Carb Foods

27
    • 1). Create a list of search terms to use online. You might type these in a word document, so that you can easily copy and paste them into search engines later.

Think about your dietary needs when making these search terms. If you are a vegetarian, or you prefer a low-sodium diet, you might want to list search phrases such as "low carb vegetarian foods" or "low sodium low carb foods."

    • 2). Enter your search terms into a search engine such as Google or Yahoo. Hit "Search" and see what hits pop up.

    • 3). Once you've found several lists, compile your own list of foods you like that are present on low-carb food lists. This is the easiest way to create a low-carb diet that you can stick to.

    • 4). If you're unsure about a food and whether it's truly low in carbs, do extra research targeting that specific food. Your search terms might look like:

"carbohydrates in broccoli" or "red wine and carbs"
