Hezbollah Vows End to Lebanon Government

15
Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah promised thousands of supporters Thursday that they would eventually bring down Lebanon's Western-backed government, but the prime minister vowed to stand firm against protesters.
It was the seventh day of street demonstrations by Hezbollah and other pro-Syrian parties aimed at pressuring Prime Minister Fuad Saniora to quit in a deepening political crisis threatening to tear the country apart.
I would like to comment on the current situation in the Middle East in today's article.
Why are Western-backed governments not beloved? A possible reason forthat is of course the fact that we tend to interfere with almost everything they do and say.
We here in the West, would love to see a political stable Middle East, which doesn't pose a threat to anyone.
And we wouldn't care about the region to much, weren't it for the fact that they are sitting on a major part of the crude oil deposits, which becomes more valuable day after day.
People like Sheik Hassan Nasrallah have a different view on how the world should look like then for example, president George W.
Bush from the U.
S.
A.
Who is right and who is wrong? Well that depends of course to which camp you belong.
The sad reality is however, that at this point in time, it really doesn't matter anymore.
The damage is done.
And will likely continue to be done.
By both the U.
S.
A.
and it's allies, and by muslim extremists around the world.
The current situation in Lebanon, where Hezbollah is trying to bring down the Lebanese government, is scary.
Not just for the people who are living there, no, this might have very serious consequences for the whole world, no matter where you are.
There will be certainly a new war with Israel, if Hezbollah succeeds in ousting the Lebanese government.
Countries like Syria and Iran will likely be allies of Lebanon in such a war, leaving us to wonder what Egypt and the rest will do.
Since the West does have a vested interest in this region, the interest being of course oil, we will do everything what is possible to keep that commodity coming our way.
I think that there is a serious possibility that with absolute chaos in Iraq, which can be partly credited to Western intervention, and a toppled Lebanese government, we are heading to World War III.
The current situation is a breading ground for Muslim extremists who find a willing audience in their followers worldwide.
And what is more scary about this prospect is that World War III could be something resembling as the first CIVIL WAR effecting the whole world.
We will get into a situation in which you start to be afraid of your own neighbours.
You know, if you look at my daily video show, that I dearly love soldiers.
No matter from which country, or who they represent.
My rational is that if you love a soldier, and the soldier loves you as well, then it will less likely that you will kill each other, isn't it? Let's put down our differences and work together for a better world.
Speak to you again later.
Love, Jenifer Bloom.
