Blue Grass Community Foundation Community Grants

• The Blue Grass Community Foundation offers community grants that provide funding to nonprofit, government and academic institutions. The W. Paul and Lucille Caudill Little Foundation provides up to $1,000,000 in funding to support creativity in the arts in the counties of Elliott, Fayette, or Rowan. Grants over $100,000 require matching funding from the grant applicant. To apply, applicants must submit a one-page introductory letter. Applications are due March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31 of each calendar year.
  
  

Kentucky Arts Council

• The Kentucky Arts Partnership grants provide funding for nonprofit community organizations to support the promotion of the arts. Community art grants include the Folk and Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Grants. Also, the Teacher Initiated Program has grants that support the placement of professional artists in a public school setting for up to four weeks. Kentucky Foundation for Women

• The Kentucky Foundation for Women provides grants to support the advancement of women in the arts. The Artist Enrichment grant supports nonprofit, feminist art organizations that are implementing art projects related to social change. The Art Meets Activism grant supports feminist, nonprofit organizations that are developing progressive art projects aimed at promoting social change in Kentucky. KFW provides up to $100,000 in grant funding annually for each program. Applications are due during the first week of March and September of each calendar year.
  
  

LexArts Grants

• LexArts Community Arts is an organization that offers General Operating Support and Community Arts Development grants to non-profit arts and cultural organizations based in LaFayette County. Grant awards range from $500 to more than $25,000. To apply, organizations must have an arts-focused mission, provide programming that is community-based, have professional management and demonstrate fiscal responsibility. Applications are due by April 22 of each calendar year.
