Brick and mortar businesses are not easy to start let alone keep going due to initial investment costs and monthly repayments, but it is not impossible.
It is being accomplished by many ordinary folk (entrepreneurs) the world round.
The secret to HOW is unique to each , but the general rules to be applied would have to come from the ones who have been successful many years or many times, people like Bill Gates, Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki, and Richard Branson to name a few.
These mega business stars have written books on their success and how they keep going from strength to strength.
These books would be a good place to start to gain wisdom and insight on strategies and methods of deployment , and following the suggestions would be the only way to succeed because-- There is a reason that only 5% of all businesses succeed.
There are really only a few basic rules to business.
They are easy to understand but less easy to implement.
Here are a few comments that were made by Richard Branson on some of the most important tips he would give to small business owners to help ensure their success.
Here are his pearls of wisdom: Choose the right staff, ensure that you motivate them properly and that they enjoy their jobs.
Start a business you will enjoy doing and make sure that making lots of money is not your only motivating factor.
"There really is no point at all in putting energy into a business you don't like if you're spending most of your life working," says Branson.
"You must be prepared to graft day and night to make your business work.
" "Be innovative and different.
There is absolutely no point in duplicating someone else's business.
" Branson stresses that if it's been done before there has got to be a good reason for you doing it.
"Therefore, it is only worthwhile venturing into a new business if there is a gap in the market and you can improve on what is already been offered by other people.
