Youth is not promised by being free of Needles

11
Are you afraid of needles? Do you feel like fainting every time you hear the word operation or surgery? However, are you also one who wants to get rid of those ugly age lines screaming "I'm starting to get old" on your face? If you feel trapped because the only options you think of to look young again is to have face lift or botox surgeries, then be enlightened now because there is another option left for people who want to get that youthful glow in their faces. Non surgical face lift procedures like exercises and facial masks are possible ways to remove a few years from your increasing age bank while still keeping things affordable. Doesn't it sound extremely appealing, that you can get rid of all those ugly old marks without the aid of expensive creams that promise youthfulness, removal of cellulite and baggy skin? However, staying out of surgery and sticking to creams, face masks and face exercises is not entirely the answer because their effectiveness has never been confirmed and they also have their own share of down sides. This article will try to give you an overview on the "supposed" to be bright and dark side of these surgery-free face lift methods.

One set of exercise that is most popular among non surgical face lift procedures is zone therapy. This technique is a simple practice that uses pressure and touching derived from the principle that the body has a big electromagnetic field which when disturbed negatively results to illness and ageing. According to the principle of this therapy, the body consists of ten zones with five each on the left and right side. These zones incorporate and are connected to every single organ in the human body. Ageing is believed to be the cause of the minimizing of the electromagnetic currents in the system and the aim of zone therapy is to bring back these lost currents by aiming pressure on the nerve endings. There is still a big question on this exercise set because it has never been supported by science. Also, since it targets nerve endings in its massages, an individual who may concentrate on the wrong endings may affect some other parts of their body in a negative way.

Moving on, the face plan of this non surgical face lift technique consists of six steps aimed to massage areas of the face. The first step involves puckering the lips and pushing it forward in a motion as if the person is pointing at something. The next step, on the other hand, needs the puckered lips to be opened and stretched as much as the person can manage. For exercise three, the mouth is closed again and the corners of the lips are pulled down towards the chin. In step four, the head is tilted back and the right hand palm is placed in the center of the forehead. Step five involves putting the head forward towards the chest and having the palm of the same hand on the back of the head. In this step the head should be forced back up while trying to resist the movement again with the hand. For the last exercise, puff the cheeks and purse the lips again. Lastly, lightly slap the face with both hands for about two minutes. Though these exercises may sound refreshing for those sagging facial muscles, their effectiveness lies on whether the person doing it is targeting the right places to tap and soothe. Facial muscles are like clay and the whole appearance is the portrait. Since this zone therapy still hasn't been proven yet and because of the high risk of concentrating on the wrong muscles, people may just end up having more sagging or a look that is too far from being young. So before flexing those fingers for that massage, try researching more because even though this face lift method is free of needles, it can still give you that disgruntled appearance just like in traditional operations.
