How Can I Get a Copy of the Marine Corps Yearbook?
- 1). Contact the Yearbook Office of the U.S. Marine Corps at 619-296-3840, if you graduated from San Diego within the last two years. As of 2010, the Marine Corps Yearbook Office only keeps records for the previous two years.
- 2). Contact the Marine Museum Historical Society at 619-524-4466 Their archives contain many old Marine Corps yearbooks, according to the United States Marine Corps History Division website. However, for yearbooks between the years of 1980 to 2000, it might not have overstock to sell.
- 3). Search eBay or other online historical item retailers for your Marine Corps yearbook. Although you may find discounts or cheap items, prepare to pay a higher-than-value amount to get your yearbook.
- 4). Ask the Marine Museum Historical Society or friends from the same graduating class whether you can make copies of important yearbook pages, if the society does not have a yearbook to sell you. If you are not worried about the cost, you can even hire printers (such as FedEx Office) to make quality copies of the yearbook that you can get bound. If you do not have the money for this, have the important pages copied, frame them for protection and hang them on your wall.
