Triple A Versus MCA Roadside Assistance Coverage

23
No matter how humid it become in the summer or how cold it gets in the winter one thing we can agree on as motorist is, we need emergency road service. By having an efficient roadside coverage provider in place during this tough changing of the climate we've put ourselves in a position of preparedness, however, we've several decisions to choose from due to the fact that hundreds of these services exist today.

During an intensive research session I discovered two companies that have shown promise for the average motorist. First, you have to take in consideration in what exactly is provided within the plan you are going to purchase. What is your current budget? Do you have plans on traveling throughout this country this year? Do you value high quality service? The reality is you are going to pay for what you get. As a driver, the standard plan requirements would include the following:

Emergency Roadside Service Coverage

  • Towing service

  • Gas Delivery Call

  • Battery Jump-Start

  • Locksmith Service

  • Tire Change

Triple A Roadside Assistance Review

Triple A has boasted over 50 million users over the course of 100 years in business which gives them the lead in the Motor Club industry. You receive everything described above about having to do with roadside services. Car insurance companies have actually blended Triple A to their insurance packages for a small fee for joining.

Remember to ask your insurance provider how many towing privileges you are allowed every year if this feature is available in the plan of your choice. The disappointment I have with Triple A is the lack of miles you are permitted per tow which is only 5 miles. After the tow truck has reached its quota per mile you will be charged $4 per mile other than that you'll have other amenities for use.

Who I recommend Triple A services to? If you are not expecting to use a roadside membership too much within a year then Triple A may be your best bet, however, like vehicular insurance the saying goes, "Its better to have it and not need it rather than not have it, but need it". My verdict for Triple A is 7 out of 10 and that is being generous due to the lack of mileage preserved for the motorist. They've recently released a program for cyclist who need bicycle road service as a part expansion to their ever-growing service utility programs.

Motor Club of America BBB - MCA Review

This brings me to the discussion about MCA, the affordable Motor Club company that has generated over 11 million users spanning across the country of the United States including Puerto Rico and Canada. The Company have been growing a huge customer base for the last 85 years. Similar to Triple A they connect a member to a local roadside specialist near the area they're vehicle is currently located.

Like Triple A, Motor Club of America is a very independent company that partners with local towing services to insure each user has access to adequate roadside protection. While Triple A offers only 5 miles per tow MCA offers members unlimited roadside coverage as well as unlimited towing privileges with 100 miles per tow whenever your car is disabled. My verdict for MCA service is 9 out of 10. Other additional benefits with discounts included in your plan starting at $19.95 a month has the following:

  • Travel Planning

  • Bail Bonds

  • Arrest Bond

  • Hotel & Car Rental

  • Dental Care

  • Eye Wear Care

  • & Tons More

In conclusion, you must pay for what you get. If you live in an area that you must travel frequently such as Florida, Georgia, California or any other location that contains a huge amount of coated road then Motor Club of America may be your best bet. if you don't plan on using a vehicle often for work, school, or traveling then Triple A might be the answer. Either way both companies serves the purpose its ultimately up to the buyer for deciding which one is most important for them to use. Coverage or fully equipped coverage? You decide.
