How to Remove a Jeep JK Radio
- 1). Set the parking brake and remove the key from the ignition.
- 2). Pry off the top dash panel located directly above the radio location, using a panel tool. Start at the side closest to the windshield. Take out two 7mm screws located underneath the panel location, using a 7mm socket and ratchet.
- 3). Pry off the panel located directly below the radio location, using a panel tool. Start at the top edge. Take out two 7mm screws located underneath the panel location, using a 7mm socket and ratchet.
- 4). Pull the panel surrounding the radio out enough to access four 7mm screws on the perimeter of the radio. Remove them with a 7mm socket and ratchet.
