How to Do Speed Dialing on the Verizon Glyde
- 1). Power on the Glyde, and tap "Menu," and then "Contacts." Tap option four, "Speed Dials." The Speed Dials menu opens. All available number codes display in numerical order.
- 2). Tap on one of the numbers that you want to assign to a contact. The "Set Speed Dial" window opens.
- 3). Tap a contact name to assign to this number. Tap "Yes" to confirm the entry, and you will automatically return to the previous page. Select a new number code, and continue adding contacts, if you want. Press "Home" when you finish.
- 4). Dial numbers you've assigned to codes 002 through 009 by tapping the "Dial Pad" key. Then touch and hold the number you want to dial. For example, if your contact is assigned to number 005, hold down the 5 key.
- 5). Call numbers assigned to codes 010 through 099 by hitting "Dial Pad." Excluding the zero in front, tap the first key, then hold down the second one. To illustrate, if the contact has code 012, tap 1, and then hold down 2 to make a call.
- 6). Dial contacts with number codes 100 through 999 by pressing the "Dial Pad" key. Tap the first two numbers, then hold down the third. For example, for a contact with the code 450, tap 4 and 5, and then hold down 0.
