She is also called as €Lady Ramanathan' since she got married to Mr. Ramanathan.

In Kodaikanal, the Kurinji Andavar Temple is also well-known as €Sri Kurinji Easware temple'. Folks of Tamilnadu also call Lord Muruga as Sri Kurinji Easware. This name is related to the Kurinji flower, which blooms only once in every 12 years on hills of Kodaikanal. The honey of this flower is also famous for its healthy factors.

Kurinji is a unique and exceptional category of flowers that carpets Kodaikanal hills. Its last bloom was in the year 2006, and it will bloom again in the year 2018.
