How to Find Flight Details
- 1). Return to the website you used to originally book your flights. This may be a specific airline's website or it may be a bargain ticket website such as Travelocity or Orbitz. Use your login information, including user name and password, to gain access into the site. Enter your flight confirmation number when prompted; this will give you your flight details. From this hub, you might even be able to print your tickets and check in online.
- 2). Call the airline's customer service phone number from a touch-tone phone. Follow the voice prompts to select the option for flight details, and enter your flight confirmation number when requested. If you do not know the confirmation number, follow the voice prompts to request an airline representative who can find your flight details on the airline's database.
- 3). Find your airline's check-in kiosk after entering the airport terminal. Punch in your confirmation number or swipe the credit card used to purchase your tickets. These automated check-in machines store flight information and can retrieve your details when the proper identification is scanned or entered.
- 4). Visit a flight-tracking database website. Several sites online update themselves regularly with flight information from multiple airlines. Some of these include Check My Trip, Flight Stats and View Trip. You do not need to know a traveler's confirmation number if you know any of the following information: flight number, departure date, arrival date, cities of arrival or departure.
- 5). Download an application to your mobile phone from your airline of choice that will allow you to monitor flight details in real time. These can be purchased from app stores, and many applications will allow you to monitor several airlines at once.
- 6). Add a widget from Google or Flight Stats to your home computer's desktop that will allow you to search for flight details.
