Most eMachines computers have integrated video cards on the PC's motherboard, which reduces manufacturing costs and allows a lower price. However, eMachines computers are upgradeable to a faster, dedicated video card to increase the PC's graphics performance level. - Computers produced by eMachines before 2007 may have an AGP slot on the motherboard for a dedicated graphics card. Most of these slots accept either an AGP 4x or an AGP 8x video card. New AGP video cards are still available for purchase as of 2010, but they are obsolete and becoming harder to find.
