Installation Without Existing Frame Holes

One way to do this is to have a friend hold the bars in place, while you color in the holes with chalk, or mark them with a sharp-tipped instrument. Next you will need to carefully drill out the holes with a power drill, using a twist drill bit (which has grooves twisting around it).
