Chicago: Wake Up and Smell the 4G Internet

11
How would you like an internet connection that goes everywhere that you and your coffee mug go in Chicago? In the past, internet connections were tied down by wires to your home, but that is no longer the case. If you've got dial-up, DSL or cable, you might want to consider joining the wireless revolution by signing up for 4G service. You may start to wonder why it took you so long to come around to such an innovative and affordable service after giving it a try.

There are a number of reasons why dial-up, cable and DSL don't quite measure up to 4G without even taking the wireless aspect into account. Dial-up suffers from a whole slew of issues. For starters, it's extremely slow. Even back when it was popular it was considered slow. Now that the internet has evolved into what it is today, dial-up is just plain obsolete. It's true that you won't find a cheaper connection, but you also won't find a slower internet experience either. It's also less than reliable, often suffering from unexplained disconnections.

Cable and DSL remedy the speed and reliability issues that dial-up has, but they come with their own set of problems. First of all, they are more expensive than meets the eye. They may claim to charge a reasonable monthly fee, but the reality is that fee is only offered to customers who pay for additional services. For example, you'd have to sign up for a comprehensive cable TV package before you could have access to the good rates on internet. Of course, this wouldn't be an issue if you'd like to sign up for cable TV anyways, but it poses a problem for people that don't watch TV or don't want cable. Maybe the biggest reason why cable and DSL should be avoided arises from the fact that both have been in the internet connection business for a while. You'd think that would have given them plenty of time to innovate. Instead they've built up their customers bases and gotten lazy. This is evident by their lack of new and innovative products. Your internet definitely won't be able to go with you and your coffee if you use cable or DSL.

You can take your internet with you everywhere in the Chicago coverage area if you use a 4G connection. That's because subscribers have the option of using a USB modem to connect. Simply plug it into your portable computing device and you'll have access to the internet. You'll be able to use your wireless internet connection anywhere in the coverage area, including at the park, at your friend's house, at your favorite restaurant, or even in a moving vehicle. You don't have to worry if it's fast enough either, because it is as fast, if not faster, than many cable and DSL subscriptions. You also don't have to worry about paying for any additional services because 4G internet companies are only in the business of internet connections. It really is the most innovative technology to come around in a while.
