Ingredients You Will Need: 1/2 cup of flour 1/2 cup of quick cooking oats 1 tablespoon of sugar 1 teaspoon of baking powder 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda 1/2 teaspoon of salt 3/4 cup of buttermilk 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil 1 egg Directions Get a large bowl for mixing your dry ingredients.
Put your flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in the bowl and mix together.
Next, start adding your wet ingredients to the dry mixture.
Add your buttermilk, vanilla, vegetable oil, and egg to the bowl.
Use a wire whisk or large fork to mix all the ingredients thoroughly until most of the clumps are gone.
