Do Self-help Tools Really Work?

It's funny when I look  back on my life.
People assume just because I am a Life Coach that my own life was perfect and I have never had any issues.
How wrong they are? We all have issues, some more than others and some people cope with them much better than others.
I still have some, like not being able to swallow tablets.
I know that's odd and you really don't want to know how I get around this.
Maybe I should write a book "100 Different Ways To Swallow Tablets.
" Anyway I digress.
If you are suffering from any form of stress, phobia and/or anxiety then firstly know that you are not alone.
Far from it, there are millions of people suffering from the same problems you are.
There are also millions are people who have decided to find a solution to their suffering, making changes in their lives which have been incredible.
I have seen this first hand and it is so wonderful when this happens.
Watching someone depressed and desperate one day and then become the person they have always wanted to be.
Relaxed, confident, positive and glowing with life.
I have to admit I am one of those people today and veryproud of my self for achieving this.
You should be proud of yourself for searching the Internet for information to make your life a fantastic one.
Many folks just can't do what you have done and assume life is always going to be bad.
Now it's my turn to help you, put you on a path of happiness and fulfilment.
There are a few techniques to get you started that are very simple exercises, which you can work on anywhere.
Breathing, you many not know this but the way you breath has a dramatic effect on how your body functions.
Short and shallow breathing is not good for your body, it needs the oxygen to feed your incredible brain and help it function to its optimum.
Shallow breathing also tightens your mussels, especially around your neck and shoulders.
So here is what I want you to do for the next 4 days.
While you are at work or doing something around the house I want you to take 5 deep breaths.
        - Breath in slowly         - Hold your breath for 4 seconds         - Breath out slowly         - Repeat 4 more times You need to do this 4 more times during the day.
Make sure you leave a note or some alert to remind yourself to do it.
Next I want you to 5 times a day say the following words to yourself.
"I love and accept myself now.
I forgive myself.
I am a loving person".
This may feel strange at first but this really does work so stick with me on this.
You want to do this 5 times a day, saying it repeatedly for 1 minute each time.
At the end of the minute Smile, then just carry on with whatever you were doing.
The whole point of these exercises are to re-program your brain, moving away from the negative into the positive.
