  Keeping your child's room clean can feel like a neverending battle. With creative storage, you can get the toys off the floor and give your child more room to play. Make clean up easy with a designated spot for everything, and make putting toys away a game at the end of the day.
  
  

Mesh Bags

• Mesh laundry bags are good for holding stuffed animals. You can also purchase mesh hammocks that hang in the corners of your child's bedroom. Toss the stuffed animals that your child doesn't play with often but still wants to keep in the hammocks. The laundry bags can be hung on the wall or placed in corners out of the way. They have a lot of give so they can hold a large amount of toys. Be careful not to place sharp toys or objects near them or the mesh will tear.
  
  

Bookshelves

• An unused set of bookshelves can be a toy organizer. Purchase plastic bins or storage boxes that fit on the shelves and place toys inside the bins, stacking them on the shelf. Toys will be easy to see and get to, and clean up will be a snap. Blocks, craft supplies, figures and other small toys are ideal for bins. If your bins aren't clear, take a photograph of what is in each bin and tape it to the outside so your child won't have to empty every bin looking for a toy he wants.
  
  

Shoe Holders

• Over-the-door clear pocket shoe holders make excellent toy storage. Perfect for tiny items that easily get lost, shoe holders keep everything at your child's fingertips. Store doll clothes, a toy-car collection, small game pieces or parts or endless other small toys. Because the pockets are see through, your child will know exactly what is in each pocket and it will make cleaning toys up a lot easier. • A piece of garden trellis is a functional addition to a child's bedroom or playroom. Paint the trellis and add handles or pulls. Hang the trellis at the child's height level. It can be used to hold things like as handbags, dress-up clothes or hats.
