The Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Scholarship awards $10,000 to the recipient and the William S. Bullinger Scholarship is for $5,000, as of 2010. Both are evaluated by financial need, but the Giles Sutherland Rich scholarship also looks for individuals who show outstanding academic promise. You can apply for either one of the scholarships on the Federal Circuit Bar Association's website.

    Milbank Diversity Scholarship Program

    • Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP awards two students $50,000 (as of 2011) and a summer internship each year. The scholarship is geared towards the law firm's goal of hiring a more diverse workforce. A large portion of the scholarship is awarded after the recipient has graduated from law school and received a job offer from Milbank, Tweed, Hadely & McCloy. You must be in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school and already completed your first year. To apply, send in an application and an essay about a number of topics related to law school and your plans in the law career field. The deadline is the beginning of September every year.
