Google Adwords And What It Is All About

24
Google Adwords is an advertising platform for many online business owners who wants to get more targeted visitors to their website. It's an advertising program by Google, that allows advertisers to get high rankings in the search engines, without having to do search engine optimization at all.

Now if this sounds good to you so far, you should know that the story doesn't end here. There are many people in a variety of different niches who are paying alot of money on their Adwords campaign. This means that you will face competition, plus you will more than likely have to pay a relatively high cost per click each time someone clicks on your ad. Let me tell you how Adwords work.

Google Adwords is a "pay per click" search engine that drums up millions of visitors each day. Google's "Adwords" program allows you to create an ad, add keywords to it, set a bid price, and then start receiving traffic to your website within 24 hours. Each time someone clicks on your ad, you get charged a fee.

Now the fee that you get charged could be from as little as 5 cents a click, or even 1 dollar a click. If you don't have the advertising budget to do 1 dollar a click, I suggest you find alot of relevant keywords related to your site, and add them to your account, and bid around 10 to 20 cents per click.

This way you can monitor your campaign without betting the farm all on your first try. One thing that you definitely will want to do is have a high click through rating (CTR). The higher your CTR, the more your ads will be shown in the search engine results. The lower your CTR are, the less your ad will be shown in the search engine results, and it can even be grounds for account termination. So you will really want to do your homework.

Google Adwords isn't new. It's been around for a long time now and I don't expect it to go anywhere any time soon. When you launch your Adwords campaign, take a look at all of the helpful tips, applications, software, and programs that you can use to make your Adwords ads a success. For example, one such good tool is Google's free keyword tool.

This tool let's you know the search queries that were made by visitors to Google, and gives you a wide variety of keywords that you can target and bid on. When using this tool, you don't want to focus on the high competition keywords. These are the keywords that people are paying 1 dollar per click on and even higher!

So instead, look for low competition keywords that you can rank high for, and that you don't have to pay alot of money for to get this easy traffic. Many people are making alot of money with their Adwords campaign, and you can do the same too. Many people spend thousands of dollars every month on their Adwords campaign, but if you don't have the funds to advertise like that, then I suggest that you keep your costs low.

Good luck with using Google Adwords to boost your sales and profits today.
