Find a Friend"s Number Through Social Networking Sites

112
One of the best things about the Internet is that just when you think everything that can be done has been done, something new comes along.
One of the things that has been very popular in recent years is social networking.
These have been around for a while, but were yet another online innovation that changed the way that people communicate and the way they spend their time online.
What is a bonus is that you can use these sites to find old friends, and possibly even phone numbers.
Though MySpace and Facebook are the largest, there are others out there that are full of people.
MySpace tends to be for everyone, and that means that they have a very large amount of users.
Some are more specific and draw a certain personality type.
They are smaller, but they are also very worth searching.
Think of as many as you know, and then search through the Internet for them.
Write them all down so you don't forget to go through them all.
Each of these social networking sites should have a general search option through which you can search by a person's name.
Start by entering your friend's name through this search to see if a profile comes up.
If you can find a match, you may find a phone number on their page.
At the very least, you have a way to communicate with them now.
You may even find links to other old friends through their contacts.
If the results through the general search are too much, you can narrow down the results by what you can remember about your friend.
If you remember their age, that helps.
You can also enter a school and graduation year if you know it, and that might mean you have to join the school network.
That can be a lot of fun though.
Use all options you can find to see if the number and person pop up for you.
Search through many before you give up on this search angle.
You won't find everyone through social networking sites.
Some people are simply not online, or if they are, they are not interested in such things.
You may have a hard time finding them, but you may not have thought to use an old number for more information.
Take an old number and use it at a site developed to let you search a phone number.
You may just find that the old number can give you more information, or that it is still the one they use.
