How to Change the Google Chrome Icon on a Mac
- 1). Open the Finder window by clicking the Finder icon in your Dock, and locate the icon that you want to use for Google Chrome. If you do not have an icon that you want to use, search a directory of free Mac icons online, such as InterfaceLIFT or PixelGirl Presents, or look for "Google Chrome Mac icon" in a search engine.
- 2). Click the "Go" menu at the top of the desktop, and then click "Applications."
- 3). Right-click the Google Chrome icon, and then click "Get Info." A window titled "Google Chrome Info" appears. The current icon for Chrome is displayed in the upper-left corner of the window.
- 4). Drag the new icon from the Finder window to the icon in the upper-left corner of the "Google Chrome Info" window and drop it. The window changes to display the new icon.
- 5). Close the "Google Chrome Info" window.
