How to Troubleshoot the iPod MA147HK
- 1). Turn the Apple iPod on. Move the "Hold" switch from left to right a few times.
- 2). Press and hold down the "Menu" button and "Center" button.
- 3). Release the buttons once the Apple logo appears. The device has been reset.
- 1). Plug the USB charging cord into the bottom outlet of the iPod.
- 2). Insert the other end of the USB charging cord into the USB port on your computer. The iPod should begin charging, and your computer should recognize the device.
- 3). Retry with a different USB charging cord if the above doesn't happen. If the device still won't connect to your computer, proceed to Section 3.
- 1). Click on your toolbar, located in the bottom left corner on the computer screen.
- 2). Click "Shut Down" and then "Restart." Leave the computer alone while it completes this process.
- 3). Open iTunes. If you are informed that a new version of iTunes is available or new updates are available for iTunes, click "OK" to install the updates.

- 2). Click "iPod Classic" in the source list to highlight it. Click the "Summary" tab.
