MLM Success - Framing For Abundance

How you frame a request is one of the most important aspects of your communications.
Framing is the context or angle in which you approach a subject.
For example my four year daughter is a master of negotiation and persuasion.
My daughter never asks daddy to get her a drink...
I always seem to get asked if I am thirsty, or reminded that her juice cup is empty or asked what that drink is in the refrigerator.
Often I find myself instinctively refilling her cup without even a thought.
Maybe she knows a direct request for juice would probably end up with some lesson on self reliance! LOL She instinctively frames her request for juice as an inquiry.
By merely implanting the suggestion of an empty container of juice she gets her most wanted response...
A filled cup.
In our marketing efforts we want to make sure we frame them in a way that will lead to OUR most desired response.
"Please Purchase My Stuff" is one frame.
It says I am a salesperson desperately trying to make a dollar.
However there are more effective methods to increase the percentage of compliance with your requests.
Whenever you communicate always start with your context.
What is it you ultimately want to convey? There are so many nuances to your "positioning" you will want to consider.
Maybe you want to convey leadership, competence, a "been there done that" tone, or possibly even a little mystery.
These are good starting points but still...
seems like something is missing right? I call it heart.
Any small business owner would be well advised to add a little friendliness, genuine concern, helpfulness and dare I say it...
love to their messages! Framing a message as a "joint search for a solution" for example is far better than an "I got the best opportunity" frame.
Which would you respond to? As I often advise don't do what everyone else is doing.
With failure rates what they are in Network Marketing the only real use of checking out what your competitors are doing is to understand what isn't working.
Connecting to people is quite simple...
In the end it is about who you are.
The real context of any message is you.
Ensure you are shining through your messages by framing them in such a way that promotes connection.
Frame your entire MLM business as a service because that is what it truly is.
Helping others achieve success...
that sounds like success does it not? Which brings us to our main topic of the day...
Framing for Abundance.
How do you go about framing MLM success? A good start is to build your business around an attitude of Abundance.
By framing your messages in a spirit of giving you communicate so much to your audience.
You communicate that your there to help but also that you have something to offer.
Too often we see "incentives" in our industry that are blatantly designed for one thing and one thing only.
There purpose is to capture a lead.
These are becoming less and less effective because what we are saying to our prospects is IF you give me your e-mail I will give you this piece of value.
That may work in other industries but in MLM everyone hears this every day all day.
This is why I suggest taking this one step further and leading with value.
