How to Melt Cheese on Beef
- 1). Place the cheese grater on the plate. Run one side of the cheese block along the large holes to grate the cheese. Grate the amount you desire.
- 2). Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 3). Cover the baking sheet with tinfoil. Place the meat on it, with the surface where melted cheese is desired facing up.
- 4). Sprinkle the grated cheese on the meat, covering the surfaces where you desire melted cheese.
- 5). Insert the baking tray into the oven. Cook for 15 minutes, or until all of the cheese is melted.
Turn the oven to broil. Bake the meat for another five minutes, if you want the cheese to be slightly browned. Remove and serve immediately.
