5 Beautiful Blonde Color Formulas
Blondes can be tricky but oh so beautiful when they're done right. Below you'll find beautiful blonde hair color formulas to inspire you to try something new.
Existing level: 7
Formula 1: Matrix V-Lite De-Dusted Lightener + 20-volume developer.
Formula 2: Matrix V-Lite De-Dusted Lightener + 30-volume developer.
Formula 3: Matrix Color Sync SPV (Sheer Pastel Violet) + developer.
Apply Formula 1 to root area and Formula 2 to midlengths and ends.
Lift to pale yellow, shampoo, condition and dry hair to 80%. (If necessary, rinse hair and apply a second batch of lightener to achieve desired level of lift.)
Tone with Formula 3 and process up to 20 minutes.
Existing level: 5-8
Formula 1: L’Oréal Professionnel Platinium Blue + 30 volume developer. Lift to pale yellow.
Formula 2: L’Oréal Professionnel Luocolor equal parts 9 + 8.03 + 20-volume developer from roots to ends.
Prelighten to pale yellow with desired powder lightener
Formula: Redken Shades EQ 30 grams 9AA +10 grams 9RB + developer.
Apply to wet hair at the shampoo bowl and process for 10 minutes.
Existing level: 6
Formula 1: Clairol Kaleidacolors Bleach (Blue) + 40 volume. Back comb all sections of the hair and apply product to the ends that are sticking out.
Make sure to keep the bleach wet and that the strands are fully saturated with product.
Formula 2: Shades EQ Gloss 7NB + Shades EQ processing solution
Apply toner from roots to ends on shampooed, towel dried hair.
