• Tuna varieties found offshore from Biloxi include Skip Jack, Yellowfin, Albacore, Bluefin and Bigeye. The Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic runs annually in Biloxi. The 2009 top place tuna catches weighed in a range of 165.9 lbs. (3rd place) to 822.6 lbs. (1st place).
  
  

Licensing

• Residents and non-residents must obtain saltwater licenses before tuna fishing in Biloxi. The resident license fee is $10 and the non-resident fee is $30. The cost of licensing is usually included in the price of the charter trip.
