How to Figure Travel Trailer Length
- 1). Instruct a friend to hold the start of the measuring tape flush with the end of the bumper.
- 2). Walk with the measuring tape to the start of the cabin and align the measurement with this point.
- 3). Record the measurement indicated on the tape in feet. If the trailer length is needed for licensing, then measure all the way to the trailer's tongue.
