Kitchen Worktop
Encore is considered to be an alternative to Corian®. It has a very similar appearance and can be worked similarly to Corian® although it does have some limitations. The pay-off here though is reflected in the much more competitive price. To get technical - "Encore is a compression moulded, reinforced, natural mineral filled homogeneous nonporous acrylic". ?Encore's structure gives it great performance characteristics including excellent stain resistance properties, heat tolerance, great scratch, chip, shatter and wear properties.

Granite - Kitchen Worktop
Granite is one of the hardest materials on earth. Composed of quartz, feldspar and mica, its unique colours and patterns are created by other minerals present in the stone. It's a surface that is resistant to scratches, stains and heat. It's very practical – easily wiped clean and if looked after will give years of pleasure in your kitcen. Granite is more expensive than most of the worktop choices, however it is now more affordable than ever.

Available in over 100 colours, Corian® can be carved, routed or worked like wood, moulded, thermoformed or inlayed...the design options are almost limitless.

Of course this kitchen worktop comes at a price and Corian® is traditionally one of the more expensive options for work surfaces, however when creating a dream kitchen it is often the choice of professional kitchen designers.
