How to Set Up Email on an iPod
- 1). Press the round button at the bottom of your iPod Touch device and slide your finger across the screen as instructed to unlock your iPod Touch.
- 2). Press the "Settings" icon and then select the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" option.
- 3). Tap the option "Add Account" and then select "Other." Choose the "Add Mail Account" option.
- 4). Type your Name, full email address, case-sensitive password and a description for your email account in the appropriate fields. Select "Next."
- 5). Type the POP3 incoming mail settings in the "Host Name" field under the "Incoming Mail Server" sub-section. Type the outgoing mail settings in the "Host Name" field under the "Outgoing Mail Server" sub-section. Tap the "Save" icon
- 6). Wait while your iPod Touch communicates with your email's server and sets up your email account. You will receive confirmation when the process is complete and your email is set up.
