How to Sew A Homemade Clutch Wallet
- 1). Cut out a piece of fabric that is 9 inches wide and 10 inches long. Fold over the edges of the fabric 1/4 inch and iron the folds in place.
- 2). Fold over the edges of the fabric 1/4 inch more and sew the folds in place.
- 3). Cut out a piece of fabric that is 8 inches long and 5 inches wide. Fold the edges of the fabric piece under 1/4 inch and iron the folds in place.
- 4). Line up one of the 8-inch edges of the small fabric piece with one of the 9-inch edges of the larger fabric piece (wrong side of the fabric). To form a pocket, sew down three of the edges of the small fabric piece.
- 5). Repeat the process to add any other desired pockets to the wallet, changing the size, shape and location of the pockets as needed.
- 6). Sew a clasp onto the middle of each of the 9-inch edges of the wallet on the wrong side of the fabric. Fold the wallet in half to clasp it closed.
