As you would expect, Kinectimals is a game that appeals to the animal lover in all of us.
It's based on a secret island where you're off to make friends with a virtual cub.
You can choose your pet from a variety of panthers, tigers and lions - with the ability to unlock more as you progress through the game.
Once you've selected your new buddy, it's time to play.
Easy to play? The frightening thing about this game is just how much fun it is, and how easy it is to get lost in a world where you're constantly playing with new toys, teaching your pet new tricks and being forever tempted just to gain that extra experience point or two.
The more you play, the more you can do, until it dawns on you that you have just spent the evening jumping around in your living room with a virtual lemur.
An odd experience to be sure, but one that is curiously satisfying.
Its certainly a game that will have the whole family joining in, and what could be better for the festive season.
Good for your dignity? This Christmas will certainly have its fair share of people bounding around the living room grinning madly at the television.
