Jorge Nunez [http://www.usatalkback.com/star/Jorge_Nunez] is one of the youngest contestants selected in to the top thirteen; he is twenty years old and he is from Porto Rico. I think that Jorge Nunez is of the most surprising contestants in American idol season eight. In my opinion he didn't started his first American idol's auditions so good. During his first audition I didn't think he was very unique and during Hollywood's week I hardly noticed him at all.
Jorge Nunez was in the third group of American idol's live show, during that show I noticed him for the first time. The first thing that stands out the most about him is that he sings from the heart. There is something very unique and original about Jorge Nunez that makes his singing very reachable to the audience. When he sang his song I was moved and excited in the same time! Because Jorge Nunez seems to be a real and down to earth kind of person it is really fun watching him interviews and sings. This is comparing to other contestants like Tatiana Nichole Del Toro, which seems to be hypocrite, dramatic and without an interesting personality.
There is some thing very moving in the way Jorge Nunez expresses his excitements with the show; in a very natural way without any fake perpetrations before. His reaction to American idol's judge's critic was unbelievably beautiful and authentic. On the show after that, "the wild card", Tatiana Nichole Del Toro tried to make a good imprecation with the judges by copycatting Jorge Nunez way of speaking. Suddenly she had a Spanish accent and according to her it appears when she fills nerves and excited. Come-on, is this girl for real?! She has no personality what so ever that she has to copy Jorge Nunez's?! I think she is a juke and I am glad that she was not chosen for the top thirteen, not by the audience or judges.
I think that "the wild card" show was the best show so far in season eight. All the contestants really sang their heart out and tried their very best to convince the judges to keep them in the show.
I wander what is going too happened during the next shows of American idol because the top thirteen that were chosen to continue are all amazing singers. When there are so many good singers with great talent, the contestants must find another way to stand out before the audience. The best way to stand out is to have an interesting personality and to succeed in bringing it out so the audience will connect to it and will be moved by it. So far there are two contestants that manage to do it perfectly: Jorge Nunez and Danny Goky. I think Jorge Nunez is a very sensible person with a very good capability in connecting to his fillings and showing it out. Not many artiest have such a talent in succeeding expressing their filings so good. If we will look at American idol's seasons from the beginning, I think that we will see that all the contestants that won and became "the next American idol", have the talent to express their fillings well in front of the audience.
