How to Test the Load Speed of a Website
- 1). Access the Pingdom Tools website and click on the "Full Page Test" tab. Place your URL into the provided text box then click the "Test Now." The website will test the provided URL display the seconds or minutes it took to load.
- 2). Access the iWebTool website and click on the "Website Speed Test" icon under the "Domain Checkups" heading. Type your domain or URL into the provided text box and click the "Check" button. A display will appear with the domain's name, size, the load time and the average speed per KBs.
- 3). Access the Link Vendor website and click on the "Website Speed Test" icon under the "Site Analysis" heading. Place your domain or URL into the provided text box, solve the calculation problem and click the "Submit" button. A display will appear with the domain's name, the speed of the website and the website's estimated load time.
