Guide Review - Review of the FURminator FURejector deShedding Tool
The original FURminator impressed me - it does a great job and is basically worth the expense. The FURejector deShedding Tool takes it's predecessor a step forward, making the tool work even faster. I admit it - I am lazy sometimes. When using the original FURminator, I would have to stop every few strokes and pull out the hair from the teeth of the tool. This was not a big deal, but a minor hassle. Along came the FURejector - and it is quite convenient.
The FURejector is almost exactly the same as the original FURminator except for one major difference: a plastic button above the handle can easily be pushed to release all fur from the teeth of the tool.
It's quite simple, really - and it makes a lot of sense. While using the FURejector, I was able to groom my dog faster and keep one hand free at all times. Plus, no hair stuck to my hand because I did not have to remove it manually. In the past, I would get dog hair on my hand and inevitably touch my face, getting hair in my eyes and nose. Using the FURejector, things seemed a bit more tidy.
Fortunately, the addition of the push-button release does not compromise the functionality of the tool as compared to the original. It's still the same great product with an added bonus. There are some drawbacks, though I feel these are minor - the FURejector only comes in on size and is somewhat more expensive than the original FURminator. However, I think the good definitely outweighs the "not-so-great" with this fine product. I certainly plan to keep using the FURejector on my own dog.
