How to Change the Font on a Nokia E65
- 1). Connect your Nokia E65 to the computer using Nokia's standard USB cable. When the phone prompts you, choose "Data Transfer" mode instead of Nokia PC Suite mode.
- 2). Go to "Start," then "My Computer." Here you will find your phone's folder listed as a removable drive folder.
- 3). Find the directory named "Fonts." Skip to Step 5 if you find the directory. If not, skip to Step 4.
- 4). Open the "Resources" folder. Right-click inside the folder and click "New," then "New Folder."
- 5). Go to "C:\Windows\Fonts." This is your computer's font's folder.
- 6). Select the fonts you want--for instance, "verdana.ttf" or "baveuse.ttf". You can select up to seven fonts since your Nokia E65 uses seven different fonts. If you're looking to replace all the fonts, then search for seven new fonts on your PC, and rename them to "S60SC.ccc", "S60TCHK.ccc", "S60ZDIGI.ttf", "SWABIU.ttf", "SWABRU.ttf", "SWARIU.ttf" and "SWARRU.ttf". After renaming the files, move them to the "Fonts" folder that you found in Step 3 or created in Step 4.
- 7). Disconnect the phone from the USB cable and restart it. You will now see new fonts on your Nokia E65.
