How to Print an Envelope on an HP L7590
- 1). Lift the output tray, which is the tray sticking out of the bottom of the printer where the printed items are retrieved, to expose the blank paper.
- 2). Remove the blank paper from the printer and set it aside.
- 3). Insert an envelope into the paper tray, located below the output tray. Place the envelope upside down with the flap facing up on the right side of the tray.
- 4). Slide the media guides to fit snugly around the envelope, which automatically set the margins on the printer.
- 5). Open your word processing software and create a new envelope. To create an envelope in Microsoft Word, click "Mailings" at the top of the window and then click "Envelopes." To create an envelope in Open Office, click "Insert," and then click "Envelope." In Apple Pages, click "File" and then select "New From Template Chooser." Click on the envelope template that you would like to use.
- 6). Enter the recipient's address in the "Delivery Address" and then enter your return address in the "Return Address" field. If you are using pre-printed envelopes, place a check-mark beside "omit."
- 7). Click "Print" to print your envelope.
