Why Isn"t the Christian the Big Man on Campus Anymore?
Unless you're going to a Christian university and everyone in the university isn't really interested in solid facts, there is a good chance that you're not going to find a Christian who is the big Man on campus, anymore.
It seems like most universities that are seriously interested in teaching useful information to their students, aren't producing any more Christians.
Instead they seem to be producing people that aren't easily manipulated or controlled by religious beliefs and seem to have more questions than answers.
The other day I was watching an older man preaching Christianity on a popular college campus and he was definitely spouting off the Gospel.
There was between 15 and 25 students gathering around the Christian preacher, while one student was trying to ask him some serious questions about Christianity.
I can't be too graphic with the exact words that this particular Christian preacher was yelling at this young man, but he definitely suggested that this young man wasn't going to heaven and if he didn't change his ways, he was going to be in big trouble.
The young man kept repeating one question," Do you believe that the Bible was the written word of God?" The Christian preacher wouldn't respond or answer his question and it wasn't long before the group of college students disbanded and lost interest.
It seems like we are producing a younger generation of students that aren't accepting the answers from the past.
It seems like more and more of these students are digging deeper, trying to find the truth about Christianity and other religions around the world.
I don't know if the Christian is ever going to be the big man on campus again, but I do know one thing, some students today aren't as easily brainwashed as previous generations.
